Basic Genetics (Heredity & Traits)

Heredit
Heredity is the passing of traits from the parents to their child. I learned that there are two sets of twenty-three chromosomes. One of the sets is is the sperm cell from the father and the mother set is called the egg cell. When this two sets join, they form a cell called "zygote" which have foury-six chromosomes. I also learned that each child gets half of the parents chromosomes and each child each inherits a unique set of chromosomes and the one rule of heredity is that the child must receive one of each chromosomes. Every child will have a resemble of the mother and the father.

Trait
A trail is what makes us different to one another outside of our body, but, in the inside we are all alike because 99.9% identical DNA. There are different types of traits like our physical traits, behavioral traits, and predispostion to a medical condition. Genes plays a role of defining our traits, but, the non-genetics or environmental can sometimes change our traits. One of the examples of one of the traits is called physical trait which is when our genes tells us our real hair color but for the non-genetics, people change their hair color.
