Summer Reading Questions
The connections i was able to make while reading the book was that every one has a gift. A gift is an ability that is given to you. In the book, Nancy's special gift was ESP, which is the ability to sense the thoughts of others. I consider drawing as my special gift. Brendon's gift was music and in the end, he becames a pilot, this is a connection because even though my mom is good at drawing, she only became an artist for a short period of time.

Bullying
Everyone feels that bullying is wrong, but we can't stop it in our society or our own school community. This is because bullies want to be known as a stronger person and they're not afraid to fight others and hurt other people. This relates to Jack in the Lord of the Flies because Jack feels like he is the leader and he is not afraid to fight and he pretty much has the characteristics of a bully. One of the people that he bullied was Piggy. Jack let out the fire when the ship was crossing the island and got upset and he punched Piggy in the stomach. Another example of bullying is when Ralph made fun of Piggy's name and told everyone about it which hurt Piggy's feelings.

My favorite subject is science because you get to to fun experiments and learn about rocks, the solar system, our environment and lots more. The best book I ever read was the book called "Twilight". My favorite food to buy ion the cafeteria is tacos. On the weekend, when all my chores are done, I like to watch television, play the computer, or sleep. If I won a free airline ticket to any place I wanted, I would go to Hawaii because i never went to Hawaii before and because I always wanted to go to Hawaii. My favorite color is purple. If I had a pet, it would be a cat and i would name it Waco. This year, if I work hard enough, I hope i could have a great job like being a lawyer.
